An interesting batch of photos and some questions....

This batch of photos has come to me, not top quality, but does have some interest and questions. The first batch have come in both medium format negative form and prints of the same size. The second batch are just in print format.

The first pictures are definitely Derby Works 05/05/1957, the neg packet and most of the prints have this date on them. The negative packet actually has 'Group Derby 5 May 1957' written on it so looks to be a private group visit.

Still at Derby Works, some general views within the workshops including what appears to be 350 shunters under construction.

Brand new shunter 13348, later to become D3348 and finally 08278. According to the BR database the loco entered service 2 days before on the third of May and looks to have been solely a Scottish loco before withdrawal in June 1977, scrapped by December. The third of May was a Friday, making the fifth a Sunday so it looks like the Ops department hadn't taken full possession of the loco before the weekend started. Obviously there is a possibility that remedial action was required and the loco wheeled back into the workshop after release to ops.

The second batch are all dated 29/10/1957. Some are obviously railway related, some not. If anybody has any clues to locations for me I'd be grateful.
The first four all railway related.

The final two with no obvious railway connection.
