Not completely bowled....

I thought I had this covered on all bases, 47812 running light from Three Bridges to Eastleigh Works after a failed attempt at a 442 drag last Thursday. The plan was walk through West Park to Shaftesbury Avenue bridge as the vegetation at my favoured spot halfway up Elm Grove footbridge gets in the way at this time of year and the shot from the top isn't as nice.

The plan:

RTT up on screen - Check
Briefcase Rail on screen, just in case - Check
Early lunch  - Check
20 minutes or so relaxation before strolling across the park to Shaftesbury Avenue  - Check
PANIC MODE:  after the briefest of glances at Briefcase Rail it's at Shoreham already, 45 minutes early!
So Plan A out of the window and the only realistic course of action was Plan B, the  'Not As Good As It Could Have Been' plan with the following result:
