A few images from the Worthing area that I've only just got round to doing something with.

A while later, 377428 has departed to be replaced in the down platform by 313213 working 2K69 Brighton to Littlehampton. 1H19 has called the up platform and departed for London leaving the way clear for 377444 to depart for Brighton.
Saturday 12/11/2016
Quite a busy day for non run of the mill activity, despite absolutely atrociously wet weather. There's even some left over for a future blog item!
 |
Firstly, West Country class Pacific 34046 'Braunton' (masquerading as 34052 'Lord Dowding') worked a Three Bridges to Weymouth railtour and looked to be in fine fettle as it passed Elm Grove. |
 |
Another highlight of the day was Southeastern class 395 Javelin units 395016 and 395015 working a very special railtour in aid of the Royal British Legion that started at St. Pancras and took in various places on the Southeastern side before running from Tonbridge to Redhill, down to Littlehampton then along the coast to Brighton. Continuing to Eastbourne and Hastings before setting off for other Southeastern locations before terminating back at St. Pancras. |
