Desperate For Light

26/03/1978 and the one and only time that a Deltic worked a train along the West Coastway in BR days.
55007 'Pinza' worked 1Z80, the Man of Kent railtour, from London Victoria with a departure at 09:25, to Sittingbourne (and a trip on the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Railway) and Dover, then a run up to London Bridge. From London Bridge the tour continued via Three Bridges to Bognor Regis where 73127 was attached and hauled Pinza and its train to Littlehampton.
