On Good Friday 18/04/2014 an engineers train, 6N35 1455 Bricklayers Arms Junction to Eastleigh, hauled by DBS loco 66151 caught fire (from info received at around 17:00 in the day) near Three Bridges, apparently with smouldering sleepers. This caused delays and cancellations and trains to turn around short of destination.

| The first shot is unusual in that it is a single class 313 right at the buffers of the Middle Road at West Worthing, normally trains will stop after becoming clear of the exit signal. I suspect that a down London service had turned around at West Worthing and the 313 had to make room for this train in the siding. |
