Worthing Station, 1960s

These are a couple of images from my father.

This angle of Worthing station is not often photographed. It shows the fruit dock and all associated trackwork still in place. There is also pointwork and signalling at this western end of the station that didn't have much longer before it was removed. Exact date unknown at present.

Class 03 shunter D2091 has just passed under the original Broadwater Bridge. The Civil Defence Corps building , with its entrance from the bridge is in the background was once the Corn Exchange. May 1967.
