Tangmere, twice in a week

With months of no steam viewing opportunities within easy reach, there came two opportunities within 5 days, it doesn't matter if the loco was the same one.!
Both trips featured Battle of Britain class loco 34067 'Tangmere', firstly on Saturday 6th December 2014 when it worked 1Z84 07:54 Three Bridges to Bristol Temple Meads 'The Bath Christmas Market' railtour. As ever sunlight not in an ideal place for a train travelling east to west in the morning along the West Coastway.

On Wednesday 10/12/2014 it was the turn of Lewes to host Tangmere passing through when working 1Z87 10:43 London Victoria to Eastbourne 'The Christmas Sussex Belle' railtour. This tour had a layover at Eastbourne then continued to Hastings with the class 37 diesel at the opposite end of the train providing power. At Eastbourne the train reversed direction with Tangmere again at the head and continued back towards London via the Hastings direct line.
